Address

Here is Ryan's address

A1C Ryan Windle
379 EMXS/MXMG
APO AE 09309

Don't know what he wants yet, but his birthday is January 19th if you want to send him a card or note. Stamps went up to 39 cents this weekend, but you only need one to mail it to him. Thanks for caring about both of us!

I think that letters going to the desert are free... you just write "free" where the stamp goes and you're good. I'll have to look into it though. I know this was true in Germany... but I thought desert troops could send and receive letters free, a friend of mine used to do it. I'll find out.

OK I talked to someone who's husband is in Iraq, and she said Ryan can send stuff free to her, but not the other way around. Let me know if you hear something different :-)

You're right... he can mail you for free, but your letter has to have a stamp. The only way you could mail for free is if you have an APO address (meaning you have to be stationed overseas... that is how I got away with it in Germany).

Sorry for the mis-information! =(
